KAS Shelving Systems is a specialist supplier of retail shelving, longspan racking, shop counters and display equipment. From our warehouse near Swindon, we supply businesses throughout the UK—from independent retailers and single-site operators to regional groups and national organisations.
Our story began in 1984 as suppliers and installers of retail shelving. More than four decades later, we combine extensive industry experience with substantial UK-held stock, efficient order fulfilment and knowledgeable, straightforward advice.

How KAS developed
An established business that has continued to evolve
KAS has changed considerably since the business began. What started as a retail shelving supply and installation partnership has progressively evolved into a modern, nationwide supplier specialising in shelving and racking.
Each stage of that development has been shaped by changing customer needs—from the arrival of online ordering to growing demand for dependable, readily available shelving and storage systems.

The business begins
KAS begins as a family partnership, supplying and installing retail shelving for shops and other commercial premises.Key shopfitting customers during this time include Pet City, later to become Petsmart.

Warehouse and the start of online sales
The business acquires its first modest warehouse and begins selling products online alongside its established shopfitting work.

KAS Shopfittings Limited
The partnership evolves into a limited company, creating the foundation for the next stage of the business.

A dedicated supply business
KAS moves into an 8,250 sq ft warehouse near Swindon. Shopfitting and installation work comes to an end as the company becomes a dedicated online supplier of shelving, slatwall and general shopfittings throughout the UK.

In October 2026, KAS Shopfitting Ltd became KAS Shelving Systems Ltd. The new name better reflects our specialist focus on retail shelving, display systems and commercial racking. The company itself remains unchanged, with the same ownership, team and company registration number.
